It is deeply sad to to hear the news that Jerry Britt passed away this past weekend.  As I am sure many of you have also, I have very fond memories of Mr. Britt; coaching baseball and basketball, gym class (remember those fashionable reversable gym shirts) and summer tennis lessons when I got to ride in his new 240Z.
Many prayers and memories.

Ron Krueger and I made the wake for Mr. Britt on Tuesday afternoon.  Kevin Roughley and a number of other old ball players drove down to Point Pleasant and paid their last respects.  I can honestly say I never met a more kind and gentle man with such integrity.  We just saw him on the Friday afternoon before R.30.

A word to the wise, don't miss opportunities to see your friends, family and Highlander Classmates.

And don't forget the R.35 Dance Championship where the Wayne Newton Trophy will be awarded.

John,
Thanks for that posting. We will have a moment of silence for Mr. Britt in his honor at the R30.5 california reunion. I hope that you and everyone else can attend and share in this once in a lifetime party in So Cal. Remember the date. Its always time well spent sharing with those that have been in our lives, and as Mr. Britt's passing has shown, life is short.....Brian

Hi  everyone!

First time attending any of these functions and I had a wonderful time, now I'm sorry I didn't go to more!  (or talk to more people)  The race is on to see how many people one can talk to in 4 hours!!  Thank you so much to John, Brian and Ron who organized this whole thing and did a fabulous job!  Brian, I hope you're feeling better.  Count me in for next time!   And have a good fall, Thanksgiving and Chnristmas!!   Ellen

Anything that you could have had almost 30 years ago can be made here on the site. Check out the Reunion store for details.
